Our Mission Statement

The mission of Brighton School is to create a strong foundation for learning by nurturing, guiding and challenging our students to achieve their maximum potential so they may become lifelong learners and productive members of society.
    • 2nd Grade Fraction Pizzas
    • Students made pizza fractions with different colored noodles and used fractions to describe the toppings on their pizzas.
    • 8th Grade Ancient Greece
    • Students studied Ancient Greece and then completed various projects. These included making comic strips and creating masks that were used in Greek Drama/Plays.
    • 7th Grade Geography Plotting Weather
    • Students recorded the weather for a 30-day period. They created bar graphs, map keys as well as determined the mean, median and mode.
    • 7th Grade Science Mitosis Mobile
    • Students made mitosis mobiles. Each group worked on a phase of mitosis and presented their phase to the class. All of the phases were connected to form a class mobile.
    • 8th Grade Science Chemistry is Elemental
    • Students just completed projects on the Periodic Table. They could focus on one element or the Periodic Table. All posters had to include common uses of elements.
    • 5th Grade Life Cycle
    • Students learned about the life cycle in Science. They created food webs that included producers, consumers and decomposers.
    • 2nd Grade Classroom Flag
    • Students read about The American Flag. They created flags that represented their classroom, using the school colors and mascot, one big star for the teacher and 23 stars for each student.
    • Reading Month
    • Teachers dressed up as their favorite book character during our November Family Reading Month.
